Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) Test

The MBC testing is designed to find the lowest possible concentration at which an antimicrobial agent will kill a designated microorganism.  The MBC is performed after a Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) test has been completed.

MBC testing is designed to compare the organism-killing capabilities of several antimicrobial agents at a single time.
