Inventory Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a driven individual to join our operations team as our inventory associate. This position is responsible for receiving, handling, stocking, and managing all the materials needed for our laboratory testing. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will take initiative to make this position truly their own. An ideal candidate would be continually looking to improve aspects of the role and is not satisfied with good enough. Strong communication is a must, as well as great organizational skills. Problem solving skills are also required, and a critical component of the position. Individuals who thrive in a very fast paced, and goal-oriented environment are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior inventory management skills and LEAN experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who is willing to meet the challenge with enthusiasm.

· Receiving incoming supplies, matching packing lists with purchase orders.

· Support purchasing department (ex. help tracking supply orders, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, etc.).

· Help implement Lockbox inventory management system.

· Conducting cycle-counting of inventory and quarterly physical inventory counts.

In addition to the above, Employee will be expected to conduct him/herself in a manner acceptable in a professional business environment, and to adhere to the policies and procedures established in the Company’s Employee Policy Manual, its Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and/or other policies and procedures that the Company may adopt.

Quality Assurance Laboratory Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Laboratory Team. The QA specialist will join as part of our larger QA team, whos ultimate goal is to ensure the integrity of our studies and data. We are looking for an individual with previous laboratory experience and skills (educational experience is okay) who is also looking to grow their skillset within the larger laboratory testing industry. Previous regulatory experience is a plus we are willing to train the right candidate.


  • Schedule audits of in-phase testing in Clinical, In-Vitro, and Virology laboratories, performing as many as time allows, and/or collaborate with other Quality Assurance personnel to perform remaining audits, as necessary;
  • Review all raw data associated with Company-testing;
  • Proofread Company protocols, final reports, Informed Consents and other study-related materials;
  • Assist with internal audits per the internal auditing schedule, including but are not limited to: balance, pipetter and pH meter calibration log books; controlled documents (SOPs and forms); product quarantine; housekeeping records; Autoplate® logbook and maintenance forms; studies in-process files, personnel training files, and ISO process and procedures;
  • Assist with scanning and pagination of final reports;
  • Type, proofread, and edit QA-related letters, memoranda, and other related materials;
  • Assist with the maintenance of the on-site and off-site archive by keeping studies filed in a timely manner and maintaining a current archive master list;
  • Assist the Director of Quality Assurance with the maintenance of the controlled documentation system (i.e., master schedule);
  • Participate in GLP/GCP training as required; and
  • Assume other responsibilities, as agreed with the Director of Quality Assurance.

Study Director - In-Vitro Laboratory

Job Description

BioScience Laboratories is looking for a qualified individual to help lead our testing team as a Study Director within our In-Vitro laboratory. The Study Director is responsible for the conducting of studies assigned to them for customer of BioScience Laboratories. The Study Director will lead a team of laboratory technicians, microbiologists and associate study directors in order to complete studies in their entirety as agreed upon by the sponsor of each study.


  • Responsible for the planning and implementing studies assigned to the laboratories:
  • Interface directly with Quality Assurance and Laboratory Manager to assure high standards of study quality, scientific validity, and accurate, technically competent work;
  • Assist the Director of Laboratory Operations to update daily the status of Studies;
  • Meet daily with laboratory personnel to assure accurate, superior quality work in all laboratories and optimum utilization of laboratory resources.
  • Responsible for maintaining the laboratory environment :
  • Provide a safe working environment for employees;
  • Assure that each employee working on a study knows his/her responsibility in performing the work assigned and is properly trained to accomplish specific assignments;
  • Assure that all equipment, instruments, and devices used in the performance of testing and general laboratory activities are available, functioning properly, and that personnel are trained in their use; and
  • Assure that only calibrated or certified equipment is used on studies
  • Function as the primary technical representative for laboratory personnel:
  • Assure that Protocols and Final Reports of all studies are accurate and technically correct;
  • Assure that techniques and methods applied are up-to-date and consistent with Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Set up a process for conducting studies and ensure the process is followed;
  • Review with laboratory personnel and Director of Laboratory Operations the step-by-step procedures and requirements of the study, with time lines. Discuss "possible failures" by pointing out weaknesses of the study and develop a contingency plan;
  • Communicate any significant variances which can and will alter the work scheduled to the Director of Laboratory Operations;
  • Assure the proper authorization and documentation for any deviations from approved protocols or SOPs in the process of testing;
  • Responsible for the overall technical conduct of the study and for interpretation, analysis, documentation, and reporting of results obtained;
  • Review completed paperwork daily / weekly for studies in progress to assure accurate, superior quality work;
  • Document and explicate any Study discrepancies and/or Protocol or SOP deviations;
  • Upon completion of testing, assure Quality Assurance Unit receives all study documentation for QA review and

final report generation;

  • Assume other responsibilities, as agreed with Laboratory Manager.
