Subject Recruitment Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for a driven individual with exposure to a laboratory setting and/or scientific writing to assist our Director of Laboratory Operations in composing, managing, filling, and processing necessary study documentation. This individual needs to be extremely detail oriented as we are governed and audited by various organizations. This individual must also be reliable, responsible and driven as this position will include considerable autonomy. MSU Grads that are comfortable in a lab setting, and with laboratory or scientific writing experience, are encouraged to apply.


• Recruit required number of volunteer subjects for clinical studies.
• Treat ALL subjects with courtesy and respect.


• Review Subject Requisition Forms provided by the Principal Investigator and create necessary study files and study advertising.
• Read and understand the Informed Consent Form (ICF) and other appropriate documents and prepare all necessary paperwork for consenting purposes.
• Contact potential subjects via telephone, email, or in-person to recruit and admit sufficient subjects necessary to conduct clinical trial studies.
• Maintain the phone system and social media applications with current and accurate recruitment opportunities.
• Screen subjects based on study inclusion/exclusion criteria. Assure all subjects recruited meet all study criteria for admission.
• Ensure all documentation is detailed and accurate.
• Provide subjects with appointment cards and calendars for scheduled testing appointments and remind them of their lab visits at least one day prior to testing.
• Act as liaison between the Clinical Lab and the consulting physicians for subject approval based on their medical history.

Other Responsibilities

• Generate study pay requests after testing completion and distribute checks to subjects as scheduled.
• Maintain subject database as well as a comprehensive telephone and email list to be updated as needed to contact subjects for recruitment purposes.
• Maintain adequate inventory of Product Restriction supplies for studies, and order supplies as necessary to ensure subject kits are available for testing needs.
• Participate in marketing events as necessary.
• Assume other responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Laboratory Operations.

Subject Recruitment Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

We are looking for an addition to our subject recruitment team within the role of the of the subject recruitment marketing coordinator. This position is compromised of two main areas of responsibility.

Subject Recruitment Coordinator: This is the primary responsibility for this position. Within subject recruitment, employees are responsible for the management of sensitive participant paperwork and information. Qualified candidates should possess a high level of attention to detail, good organizational and communication skills, the ability to work in a high-paced environment, excellent computer/typing skills and previous customer service experience. Individuals with strong customer service skills and previous IRB or clinical research experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Marketing Coordinator:
This is the second responsibility associated with this position. The SR marketing coordinator reports to the Subject Recruitment and Marketing managers. This position is responsible for assisting in the conduction and development of marketing campaigns for acquiring new study participants and retention of current participants. Prior adobe suite, PPC, Facebook business, and general marketing experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Clinical Laboratory Technician

Job Description

BioScience Laboratories perform efficacy, safety and label claim evaluations, along with confirmatory testing for our clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetic, personal care, consumer products, food and allied manufacturing industries. We are looking for a candidate to join our clinical laboratory research team to help conduct our clinical studies.

Base requirements for all lab areas: Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or related field and/or previous experience in a Laboratory preferred. Basic laboratory skills and awareness is required.

  • Maintenance of a Safe & Clean Lan Environment
  • Paperwork Management Skills
  • Comfortable Learning and Using Laboratory Equipment

Experience with aseptic technique is also strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates should possess a high level of attention to detail, good organizational and communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment. A good attitude and a willingness to learn is strongly preferred. Strong laboratory experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday during initial training period (1 - 3 months) and then transition into Tuesday - Saturday.
